The CEO/MD of Buruj Sports Academy, Salaudeen Waheed, has implored all the corporate organisations operating in Lagos State and other parts of the country to regularise payment of their taxes and other relevant dues to enable government at all levels to generate fund and provide basic amenities and infrastructures for the benefit of all.
The man popularly called ‘Doctor Buruj’ by admirers has received plaudits from various quarters for his honesty and sincerity in the payment of his tax year-in, year-out and it is against this backdrop that he is challenging individuals concerned and corporate bodies to emulate his conduct in that regard.
“I want to urge our people to rise to the challenge of paying their tax to the covers of the government at all levels so that they can have enough fund to actualise their manifestos. It is very imperative for all individuals and corporate organisations to fulfill their civic responsibilities because we are all clamouring for infrastructural transformation of our states and the country as a whole. But there’s no way that can happen if we fail to do our bits.”
“We all like to talk about our rights or criticize government for none performance but my take is: we must pay our dues before claiming our rights, ” he counselled.
