The fiercely contested and entertaining display recorded no breakthrough as The visitors held their defense solidly till the very end.
Regardless of the result, Heartland Queens showed superiority, dominance, and character all through the game as they kept the pressure on their rival’s half for the major part of the game.
The visitor’s goalie made brilliant saves despite the repeated attempts on goal from the Queens.
Reacting after the draw, Heartland Queens Technical Adviser, Coach Obi Ogbala said;
“ As you can see, we admitted new players into the team and we are using this preseason tournament to test their potency level. This particular match was used to screen them and see if they can blend with the team.
So far, through this match, we have been able to access the team as a whole and identify where we have our strengths and where our weaknesses show.
So based on our findings today, we will concentrate on our weaknesses and strengthen them before the season will begin properly.
I assure Heartland Queens fans of a better result this preseason subsequently. “ Coach Obi said.
Heartland Queens will on Thursday battle Maureen Mmadu FC in their next fixture.
