Several clubs, including Rangers from Scotland, Troyes from France, and English sides Bournemouth and Leeds United, have been linked with an interest in the versatile right-back-come-winger.
Osayi-Samuel has been with Fenerbahce for the past two-and-a-half seasons, contributing to the team’s triumph in the 2022/23 Turkish Cup.
Responding to the transfer speculations, Osayi-Samuel told Turkish TV channel NTV, “I am currently a Fenerbahçe player. I don’t listen to the gossip. My job is to focus on where I am. I am completely dedicated to Fenerbahçe. I believe in our coach, and it makes me feel like he believes in me too.”
Having signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Fenerbahce in January 2021, Osayi-Samuel is under contract with the club until June 2025.
The player has represented Nigeria four times since making his debut for the Super Eagles against Portugal in November 2022.
After successful seasons with Fenerbahçe, on 11 November 2022, Osayi-Samuel received his first International call-up from Nigeria to play in a friendly game against Portugal.
He was in the starter eleven and played 90 minutes for his international debut.
