Pacy winger Chigozirim Metu is reportedly set to sign the dotted lines for Abia Warriors ahead of the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League season, reports Sports247.ng.
Metu, a fast paced forward was spotted at the team’s training base in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
It will be a reunion for Metu and coach Henry Makinwa if he agrees personal terms with the Umuahia Warriors as both worked together at ABS FC.
The former TEAP FC and Gateway United winger is not a stranger to the NPFL faithfuls as he was at his tormenting best at ABS in the 2016/17 season before a nasty injury against Kano Pillars cut ruled him out for a lengthy period.
He returned last term to aid ABS’ successful relegation battle in the NNL last term.
