Rangers FC manager, Michael Beale is pleased with the addition of experienced Super Eagles of Nigeria defender, Leon Balogun to his team as he hails the former QPR player’s invaluable wealth of experience and qualities.

The Scottish club boss shared his delight at welcoming Leon Balogun back to Rangers as the squad continues their intense pre-season training camp in Germany in an exclusive discussion with RangersTV.
Balogun became the seventh signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Kieran Dowell, Jack Butland, and Dujon Sterling from Chelsea, Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, and Cyriel Dessers who is also a Nigeria from Cremonese.
“He is a player we all know, he is a fantastic man and he is an excellent football player. He was here in a really successful period in the team, and I have a lot of trust in him as a person and as a football player,” Beale said of the return of Balogun.
Speaking further- “Leon Balogun is someone I have been speaking to the last few weeks, he has been working away with his fitness and he is in a good place so we are delighted that he comes back and joins us.”
The Nigerian international won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup during two seasons at Ibrox and his arrival on a one-year deal is to cover the vacant spot of Leon King who is currently out with a serious ankle injury.
