Rangers International FC Grants Well-Earned Break to Players and Staff Following Impressive Season

Rangers International FC of Enugu have granted their players and coaching staff a well-deserved three-week break following the conclusion of the season with the Federation Cup final in Asaba.

The club’s Administrative Secretary, Ferdinand Ugwuarua, made the announcement during a gathering at the players’ camp in Enugu.

In a statement released by the club’s Media Officer, Norbert Okolie, Ugwuarua expressed his gratitude to the players, coaches, and support staff for their dedicated contributions throughout the recently concluded season, which saw the team reach the final of a national tournament.

He acknowledged their efforts in maintaining the team’s status in the premiership and narrowly missing out on victory in the national competition.

The players’ camp will be temporarily closed from Friday to undergo renovation work, and it is scheduled to reopen on July 14, 2023.

Players with existing contracts are expected to return to camp in July, while training sessions for the upcoming 2023/2024 season will commence on July 17.

Ugwuarua took the opportunity to extend his best wishes to those players who would be traveling to their respective destinations during the break, urging them to have a safe journey.

Furthermore, he encouraged the players expected back for the new season to redouble their efforts in preparation for an even better performance in the upcoming season.

The 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season is set to kick off in August, providing a fresh start for Rangers International FC and their competitors.

The break period will serve as a valuable opportunity for the players and coaching staff to recharge, rejuvenate, and refocus their energies for the challenges that lie ahead.

During this break, the team members will have the chance to spend time with their families, recover from any accumulated fatigue, and engage in personal training regimes to maintain their fitness levels.

The management of Rangers International FC remains committed to supporting the players and coaching staff, providing them with the necessary resources and facilities to ensure a successful upcoming season.

As the football fraternity eagerly anticipates the start of the 2023/24 NPFL season, Rangers International FC aims to build upon their achievements from the previous season,

setting their sights on even greater success and silverware. With renewed determination, strategic planning, and the continued support of their loyal fans, Rangers International FC hopes to make a significant impact in Nigerian football and compete at the highest level.
