Nigeria’s renowned music artists, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Diamond Platnumz, are set to light up the inaugural Giants of Africa Youth Basketball Festival in Kigali, Rwanda.
Masai Ujiri, co-founder of Giants of Africa and vice-chairman and president of the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club of Canada, made the exciting announcement.
The festival, scheduled from August 13 to 19, 2023, will also feature teams from Congo DR, Tanzania, Kenya, and several other African countries.
With the aim of celebrating Giants of Africa’s 20th anniversary, the festival will bring together over 250 young basketball enthusiasts from 16 nations.
