The first-place finisher in the elite category will walk away with a substantial prize of $5,000, while the second and third place runners will earn $3,000 and $2,000 respectively. The fourth and fifth place finishers will also be rewarded handsomely with $1,500 and $1,000.
Additionally, special prizes are reserved for Nigerian runners, aiming to promote local talent. The first-place Nigerian finisher will be awarded an impressive sum of N2 million, with the second place winner receiving N1 million. The third, fourth, and fifth place Nigerian finishers will also be recognized for their achievements, earning N500,000, N300,000, and N200,000 respectively.
