Remo Stars owner, Hon. Kunle Shoname has rewarded the team for finishing second in the just concluded abridged Nigeria Professional Premier League season as they also sealed CAF Champions League berth with a mega bounty of twenty-eight million naira.

This was made known during the chairman’s speech at the club’s end-of-the-season celebration party with every member of the staff set to receive their share of the cash reward after a blistering top season finish.
The Remo Stars, an Ikenne-based club lost the title narrowly to Enyimba with just a goal difference in the championship play-offs which is also known as the ‘Super Six’ that was hosted in Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Onikan Arena.
The team’s second-place finish is the highest they have made after finishing last season in third place to play Confederations Cup in their debut season.
