The young Inter Millan sensation, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro recently made a triumphant return to the Remo Stars stadium for a short visit.
Akinsanmiro’s football journey began in 2020 when he joined Remo Stars as an attacking midfielder.
He was part of the Remo Stars team that secure promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) during the 2020/2021 season.
In January of this year, the talented 18-year-old left Remo Stars after being scouted by top European clubs.
Ultimately, he signed a contract with the prestigious Inter Milan. Although Akinsanmiro has only been able to make the bench twice for Inter, in matches against Napoli in Serie A and the Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina,
Remo Stars couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments. They were delighted to see their young prodigy pick up his first Medal in his new club and contribute to Inter Milan’s victory in the Coppa Italia this season.
To celebrate Akinsanmiro’s visit, Remo Stars took to their social media accounts to express their excitement. They posted about his return to the country for the off-season break and highlighted his presentation of the Coppa Italia winners’ medal to the club president, Hon. Kunle Soname OFR.
