Osun Football Association Elects New Chairman

Sola Fanawopo, a sports administrator hailing from Igbajo, has emerged as the new chairman of the Osun State Football Association, defeating the incumbent, Rasaq Mustapha, in a highly competitive election. Out of the 37 votes cast during the election.

Fanawopo secured a total of 20 votes, while Mustapha received 17 votes, sealing his defeat. With this victory, Fanawopo has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of the association for the next four years.
