Head Coach of Warri Wolves, Jolomi Atune has refute media publication tagging him of stating that poor motivation was responsible for the Delta based club not to pick the group slot for the Nigeria National League, NNL, Super Eight.
He admit that the NNL abridged league is the most difficult league in Nigeria and Warri Wolves Fc is among the best performed and motivated team this season.
The former Nigeria Golden Eaglets and Akwa United coach who led the seasiders to a second place finish in the just concluded regular season of the Nigeria national League, southern conference, said ending the league as the second best in the group is good enough to show that the team is well motivated
“Delta state government paid us up to date to motivate the players and officials, Its unfortunate that we could not meet our target as group leader”. But there is always a next time.
“I don’t where that reporter got that interview from”. Reporters should always get their facts rights, I never granted such interview, Jolomi stated.
Warri Wolves finished second with 18 points , 2 points behind group B1 Southern conference winner, Fc One Rocket with 20 points.
