Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf popularly hailed as Fresh is back for the 6th time as Niger State Football Association Chairman having won his re-election bid earlier today in an elective congress which was held at the Conference Hall of Sarafa Hotel, Kontagora.
Also the NFF’s Chairman of Chairmen, Alhaji Fresh has been in the saddle of football in the state since 2003 and will continue the journey after another victory was recorded in the re-election today.
In total, twenty nine delegates casted their votes all in favour of Comrade Ahmad Yusuf Fresh as he will also have the help of returnee First Vice chairman, Second Vice Chairman alongside six board members.
Otunba Sunday Dele Ajayi who served as proxy for the NFF President Ibrahim Gusau felicitated with the new board as he wished them all the best in office.
Comrade Fresh In his acceptance speech after the win promised to do better for the development of the game in Niger State and called on the board members to give their best as there shall be no room for complacent members.
Speaking further, he reminded them that the electorate places high expectations on them and they cannot afford to disappoint them.
The newly constituted Board of the Niger State Football Association (NSFA) is made up of Comrade Ahmad Yusuf Fresh as Chairman, Alh Yabagi A. Baba first vice Chairman, Kabiru B. Mohammad second vice Chairman, Awaisu A. B. Kuta board Member, Sani A. Salahu board member, Lawal Mohammad board member, Abdulmimin Ala board member, Kurna Alfa Aliyu board member and Sale Adamu.
