FIFA U-20 World Cup: Eletu FC Boss Charges Victor To Make Nigeria Proud

Chairman of Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Prince Kazeem Eletu has charged his player, Victor Ehuwa Eletu to make Nigeria proud in the FIFA U-20 World Cup sheduled to kick off today in Argentina.

Victor Eletu who is currently playing for U-19 AC Milan of Italy is a member of the Flying Eagles that would confront Dominican Republic on Sunday evening in the group opener.

In his statement, Prince Eletu urged Victor to see his call up to the national team as an opportunity to serve his motherland and urged him to give his best throughout the tournament.

“Let me use this opportunity to congratulate one of our former players in academy, Vicor Ehuwa Eletu for being part of the Flying Eagles in the world cup.Victor has carved a niche for himself in AC Milan U-19.He scores regularly and also assist in goal scoring.I am expecting him to do better in the national team and make Eletu Sports family and Nigeria at large happy in the world cup.

“This is the first time he would play for Nigeria and Nigerians expect much from him.Many soccer loving Nigerians have been monitoring him in his club and time has come to make them happy by doing well in the world cup.On behalf of Eletu football family, i wish our boy all the best in Argentina,”the statement reads.

Meanwhile Victor Ehuwa Eletu plays for AC Milan. The 18-year old started from Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Academy in Lagos years ago.

He got a scholarship from Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Academy to pursue his dream of playing professional football with AC Milan.

Eletu is a defensive midfielder. He was captain of AC Milan’s U-19 team after featuring with the senior side in some games last year and showing confidence and huge leadership qualities.

He was exceptional in the UEFA Youth League. His first game as captain of the U-19 was in a pre-season 0-3 loss to city rivals Inter Milan.

Victor is a specialist on long balls, tight-space dribbling, vision, speed, endurance, and power in one-on-one contests.

Victor’s qualities may shoot him into the class of John Mikel Obi and Sunday Oliseh. He is reported to be one of the top young players in Europe.
