They have now won four games on a bounce to take their win tally to five, scoring a total of twenty one goals, conceding just eight goals in the process having drawn one game, lost two in all eight games played.
“In football, when there’s a mistake in your team, you have to go back to the drawing board and correct your mistakes because by the time they are playing consistently, they will meet up to the standard I want them to be in the field of play,” Onaolapo said in his post match assessment with Sports247.ng.
“That’s why we go to re-strategize again and all over again which helps in our play and the players also listening to instructions as we get to full gear.”
“We like teams that can meet up with our standards, before we started the league, we have been going to play NNL, Premiership teams and we aren’t afraid of anyone.”
Formerly the goalkeeper trainer of the team, Batex as he’s popularly called rose to prominence after taking over the head coach duties after the exit of the person in charge of the team and has since gone on well to lead the team to greater heights.
Referencing on his beginning with the team, Onaolapo advocated that goalkeeper trainers are also well learned in tactics, they can be better in chief coach position.
“I have learnt a lot since transitioning from the goalkeeper trainer to the head coach, I went for courses plus the inborn talent which makes it so easy for me,” Onaolapo posited.
