The much anticipated Lagos Private Secondary School Football Competition tagged ‘Proprietor’s Cup Final’ would come up on Saturday 20, May, June, 2023 at the Viscum School field, Omole Phase 2, Ikeja, Lagos.

The tourney, Proprietor’s Cup which is being organized by Atico Global Concept would see the four schools play one another in male and female categories finals.
In the female category, Dansol High School, Ikeja battle Ronik Comprehensive School, Ejigbo, while Straitgate School, Ikosi-Ketu tackle Ronik Comprehensive School, Ejigbo in the male category.
Match cordinator, Prince Wale Atiba said the proprietor’s Cup was organized for private schools in Lagos to encourage the students to show interest in the round leather game and also to keep their body fit physically and mentally.
“Since we have started the Proprietor’s Cup competition, many students are showing interest in football. Some of them have joined various football academies in their dormain so this tourney is a way of encouraging these young boys and girls to participate in sports especially football,” he said.
Commenting on the tourney, Atiba said all the participating schools gave a good account of themselves but only the best schools would play in the final on Saturday.
He however urged the finalists to stay away from vices that can bring bad name to their schools rather they should embrace peace, Unity, friendliness and fair play among themselves.
“It is not a do or die affairs but the tournament like i said just to allow private schools to showcase their students talents in area of soccer. I wish all the finalists all the best in their outings, “he said.
Meanwhile the third place matches would hold early as Landmark College, Ikorodu would battle Unique Heights High School, Isheri Magodo in female category.
In male category, Kingsfield College, Ikorodu would go to war against Dansol High School, Ikeja.
