Former Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor and Nigerian-born striker, Osaremen Ebagua are both in the spotlight of fresh deals set come their way in United States of America.
Sports247.ng gathered that, while Igiebor is being positioned for deals with Colorado Rapids and Minnesota United, Ebagua could be on his way to Miami United in the lower cadre National Premier Soccer League.
Details of the report out of God’s Own Country revealed further that Igiebor is in the last six months of his deal at Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus and can begin talking to clubs interested in him this month.
Consequently, Igiebor is now been touted for a deal in Major League Soccer (MLS), but fellow-Edo State indigene, Ebagua is scheduled for a stint in the less glamorous division with Miami United.
However, unlike Igiebor, who is still under contract at Anathorsis, the 32-year-old Ebagua has been unemployed since July 2018 after the end of his contract with Baniyas SC of United Arab Emirates.
Ironically, Ebagua began his career in Italy, where he scored over 80 goals for various Italian clubs at different levels of the game.
He began his career with the youth team of Torino, where he spent eight years from 1997-2005.
Ebagua also played for ten other Italian clubs – Casale, Novara, Pescara, Canavese, Varese, Spezia, Bari, Como, Vicenza and Pro Vercelli.
