South East Mbachi Uchenna has commended the efforts of the NAFF Zonal Amputee Football Championship organizers as he clamors for consistency and in putting up more of such tournaments.
Speaking to Sports247.ng After the third-place match between Team South East vs Team North West, South East player, Mbachi Uchenna was feeling optimistic even though his team did not win the match.
He expressed gratitude to the chairman of the Amputee football federation and the organizers of the event.
Speaking professionally, he said “It is an amazing event. I have never seen or heard about this kind of event on social media or radio in Nigeria. May God continue to bless and strengthen the Chairman of the NAFF”.
He went on to further thank his team coaches and the secretary who worked tirelessly to bring them together as a team and commend the players who left their jobs and businesses to participate in the competition. He concluded by saying in a heartfelt tone, “It is a thing of joy and immense pride. If not for this event, I would not have had the opportunity to participate. “
