Issah Yusuf was the hero as North West put three past North East to book finals spot with already qualified South West in the match day two of the ongoing NAFF Zonal Amputee Football Championship at the Surulere, Legacy pitch.
The midfielder who is now the top goal scorer of the competition having scored a goal in their opening match is hopeful that having made it to the finals, they can lay their hands on gold.
“It feels good to be the leading goal-scorer in the ongoing NAFF Zonal Amputee Football championship because that’s my target and to also win the trophy, however, I equally owe that to the help of my teammates who has helped me achieve this,” he said in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng after the 3-0 victory.
“We have a chance in the finals, bring on any team, I have the believe and confidence in my team that we will emerge victorious as well as getting a chance in the national team set up,” he boasted as he concluded.
