Brimming with unbridled confidence on the present position of his team on the 2023 Ikeja Super League table, head coach of waves-making G-Innovation FC, Abdulrazaq Musa, while speaking with journalists, has expressed the determination of his table-topping team to win the competition.
According to the highly rated grassroots football tactician, the position of the team on the league table was not for nothing, considering the hard shift put him by his boys.
” That we’re topping the league with 13 points is not a fluke. And I will describe our performances in the league, as wonderful.”
Reflecting on the league matches played so far, he said, “Before the league started we we could not prepare well to our satisfaction, simply because we had lots of programmes early this year. And during that process, we had lots of injuries and we try to manage the situation to our very best.”
“Our sessions was much of high intensity to players not injured because we needed to speed our players up,” he explained.
He went on to restate the commitment and determination of G-Innovation, who are the current champions of the popular Mike Bishop Okonkwo Football tournament to win the competition, as well as, become a dominant force and threat to other clubs Lagos state, and the country, in general.
