The much awaited anticipated Extra Quality Ramadan Cup would begin on Monday at the Eko Boys High School Idi-Oro, Mushin, Lagos.
Eight teams are expected to take part in the competition sponsored by Ayinla Yusuf Babatunde.
In the fixtures released by the organisers, defending champions, Jumez international take on Ciroma FC on Monday evening
Action resumes on Tuesday when FC Robo clash with Eko Boys All Stars, as MS Success take on Sangalo Fc on Wednesday,while Saturday All Stars face Original FC on Thursday.
Chairman Organising Committee, Musbau Oseni said the tournament is packaged to keep players and clubs within Mushin and its environs busy during the ramadan period.
“The ramadan cup comes every ramadan period and this is the third editions of the competition so our purpose of organising it is to keep the clubs involved busy during the ramadan period and we wish all the teams all the best,”he said.
Oseni said the teams selected based on their football pedigree and discipline character. He also noted that the tournament is a free for all the selected teams and urged the teams to shun vices that can ruin the image of the competition.
