Ogunmoyero Oluwaseun, head coach of Broad City has lauded the organizers of the Lagos Supremacy Cup admitting that it was a fantastic tournament with proper organizations from everyone involved in facilitating the event.
Broad City emerged as the third best placed team with the tournament which was eventually won by 36 Lions after a penalty shoot out win against Spartan FC earning accolades from the tactician, Sports247.ng reports.
“It was a fantastic tournament, well organized and I’m really impressed by the organizers who are 36 Lions and Diamond Sports, good one from them giving teams like us and other teams around Lagos and outside to showcase our players talent, kudos to them,” he praised.
“We are not disappointed at the third placed finish, the boys did quiet well. Like I said, the main purpose is the scouting game and that’s what we are focused on. Seeing the players showing themselves.”
“Sometimes, you might do so well but we were unfortunate that goals couldn’t come in from the beginning of the tournament but later on we were able to score. I’m not disappointed in the boys because to seal the third place finish is like a pre-season preparation for the NLO 1.”
