The midweek Group B match day 11 of the Nigerian Premier Football League, between Lobi Stars Football Club and Rivers United has been shifted to a later date.
The postponement is due to the engagement of Rivers United in the CAF Inter Club Competition in which they will be playing against ASEC Mimosas of Cote D’Ivoire.
The notice for the postponement was received from the IMC Head of Competition Department on behalf of the Head of Operations, Sunday Johnson Obaseki on Monday, the 27th March, 2023.
A new date for the match will be announced in due course.
Relatively, the Makurdi-based side this evening embarked on aggressive training at Mccarthy Stadium, Makurdi after returning from Gombe State, to further continue the build-up ahead of the weekend clash with Rangers International Football Club of Enugu.
