Aston Villa striker, Tammy Abraham should be back playing at Chelsea this month, if the piercing words of former Blues’ star, Frank Sinclair are anything to go by.
Sports247.ng reports that, with Abraham currently in top form on loan at Villa, Sinclair has declared that he wants the Nigerian-born star to be recalled from the English Championship club in the transfer window.
Tammy, who is an England under-21 international, is Villa’s leading goals scorer, with 14 overall this season, including ten in his last ten matches.
However, as Chelsea’s top strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have six goals combined in the English Premier League, Sinclair reckons that Abraham should be recalled to solve The Blues’ goals problems.
Sinclair argued: “If you bring Tammy back to be a part of the FA Cup campaign, it’s an extra body that helps us out.
”He’s played a lot of football, so he’s match fit and ready to go. Good luck to Aston Villa, but you’ve got to think about yourself.”
