Ahead of Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Guinea Bissau’s Wild Dogs, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC) has once again reiterated its commitment towards giving the three time African Champions the needed support.
The unique Supporters Club is already in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and met with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the clash.
President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi had a discussion with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and assured the NFF Supremo that the Super Eagles and other National teams will continue to enjoy support, he stressed that the Supporters Club has major roles to play, and pledged that his team will not hesitate to make its presence felt whenever duty calls.
Prince Ogunjimi also had a discussion with Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, he expressed optimism that the players in camp have what it takes to deliver over two legs against Guinea, adding that ANFASSC will roll out the drums and other instrument to cheer the Eagles to victory.
He also charged them to do Nigeria proud by picking up one of the tickets to feature at 2025 Africa Cup of Nations .
Friday’s game is the first of a two legged encounter between the two sides, it will take place at the Moshood Abiola National stadium, Abuja.
