Brighton & Hove Albion defender, Leon Aderemi Balogun is celebrating his side’s 1-0 victory over Everton, as he says it is a special way to end the year, and huge boost for them to start 2019 on a high.
Although Balogun stayed all 90 minutes on Brighton’s bench during the game, sports247.ng can report that the Super Eagles star feels no qualms, as he hailed his colleagues for ensuring they got a victorious end to 2018.
The former Fortuna Dusseldorf, Darmstadt and SV Mainz of Germany star is now looking forward to better pickings in 2019, as he aims for improvements on both personal and team levels.
Balogun took to social media to reveal his thoughts, as the mulatto defender praised his teammates for ending the year with victory at home, for which the 30-year-old also thanked their fans.
He interjected that it has been an amazing first six months for him in England, and believes 2019 will be even better for him, the team and their fans.
