The Makurdi-based side resumed preparations at the new Jos Stadium on Thursday evening, ahead of Sunday’s clash against newly promoted Doma United FC.
The week 9 fixture will mark the end of the first Stanza of the 2023 NPFL abridged league and the team is optimistic of ending the last home game of the first round on a high note.
During today’s training, many of the lads were exempted and given rest as a precautionary measure. They were only allowed to watch from the sidelines as Coach Baba Ganuru led the side through.
Those present but did not take part of the training include the club sensational winger, Joseph Atule, Umar Abba, Kalu Orji, Francis Odinaka Emmanuel, Monday Akile, Suur Kumaga, Sunday Chinedu and Moses Tsehuan.
Those who took part in training include Christian Madu, Terdoo Shimagande, Hassan Annas, Daniel Atsaka, Madaki Dauda,
Felix Terver, Mustapha Alinko, Mustapha Danazumi, Solomon Kwambe and Barnabas Imenger.
They were taken through some drills and light ball work, using only half of the pitch.
