Attacking midfielder Wasiu Jimoh has insisted that he left FC Ifeanyi Ubah and signed for Rivers United to win trophies.
The former youth international has revealed that he hopes to win as much silverware as possible during his time with the club.
“I always wanted this and I hope to be happy here at Rivers United,” he told Sports247.ng.
“I like challenges and to win, and I’m at a great club to achieve many titles.”
The playmaker was then asked what he could bring to a team already filled with stars.
“Goals, passes and play. I am only one [person] but I want to help.
“I’m anxious. I want January 13 to come and be better every day.”
