After the midweek loss to Remo Stars, the coach Gbenga Ogunbote tutored lads, shifted their focus to Sunday’s match, which they have have dubbed ‘must win’.
From the final training session and the expression on the faces of the coaches and the players, the Ibadan soccer lords are definitely poised to grab the maximum points, which will definitely serve as a turn around and change of fortune for the team.
Knowing the importance of securing the maximum points on Sunday, coach Gbenga Ogunbote, addressed his players after the final training session ahead of the encounter.
“We must put behind us the results of the previous games. We are left with no other option than to beat El-Kanemi Warriors here on Sunday and I believe that is achievable.
“We let our people down by failing to beat Kwara United and I know we were all disappointed also. This time, we must make El-Kanemi pay for that by beating them. That is the only way we can regain the confidence of our supporters and fans”, said the Oracle.
Shooting Stars, with two points from three matches, sit on the number nine position, going into this match while the visitors occupy the sixth position, having garnered four points from the equal number of matches.
