The Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Mr. Dominic Iorfa, has called on the team to put in their best efforts in order to secure maximum points in Sunday’s encounter against Bayelsa United Football Club.
Mr. Iorfa who gave the charge when he visited the players, coaches, and staff of the club in the camp in preparation for Sunday’s NPFL fixture of Matchday 4 holding at the new Jos Township Stadium, Plateau State, said victory should remain the priority of the team in all its matches.
The Football Administrator while commending the team for the high level of professionalism shown so far, reiterated the need for more commitment as it is the only way they can achieve the set goal made by the club.
He further assured the players and coaches that, a conducive environment would be provided for them to enhance maximum performance.
Responding on behalf of the players, the team’s Captain, Daniel Atsaka, assured the Vice Chairman of total victory, while also appreciating him for his benevolence and support to the team.
Atsaka reiterated the team’s resolve to always fight to secure maximum points, as according to him, it is the only way the players can reciprocate the good treatment they are receiving under the Iorfa-led administration.
The goalkeeper promised that the team will always give their best on the pitch to make the fans of the club happy at all times.
