CENN foundation Football club earned a valuable away lesson in their 2-0 defeat against host club Ogbe City football cub at the ongoing OISA football Tournament in Stadium at Ngor Okapala, Imo state.
The Mbaise side who honoured the tournament with incomplete squad started started the game firing all cylinders in a bid to gain advantage in the first half against the host team lost steam towards the end of the first half and conceded the first goal just 5 minutes before the half time whistle through a free kick from close range.
The second half began with a more determined momentum by CENN foundation FC side but the resilient Ngor Opkala based side stood their ground and increased the tally from a counter attack in the 80th minutes.
All efforts by the champions of YSFON to get back into the game proved abortive as their was no available players on the bench due to the incomplete squad.
Recall that CENN FC players and coaches went on a little break a few days after winning the Imo YSFON mock champions league just to recover and see their loved ones.
The champions of YSFON will be expected to return to winning ways as usual when they battle their next adversary Edwin FC in the next fixture on Saturday 24th of December at the Onwubiko Stadium Ngor Opkala by 4p.m.
