All is now set for the Annual General Assembly of the Ekiti State Football Association to be held this Thursday, December 22nd in Ado Ekiti where Prof. Akin Oyebode Family, Hon. Sunday Ola, Engr. Henrich Kolawole Akomolafe and Otunba Babatunde Ajayi (TCASH) will be honoured with Awards of Recognition for their contributions to the development of youths at the grassroots using football.
The Oyebode dynasty through the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode funded the Prof. Akin Oyebode All Ekiti State Secondary Schools Football Competition while Engr. Akomolafe, Hon. Sunday Ola and Otunba Babatunde Ajayi (TCASH) sponsored mouthwatering end of year Unity Cup football competition at their various constituencies.
The Awards presentation will be witnessed by Chairmen and Secretaries of Local Football Councils in the state, Coaches Association, Referees Council, Players’ Union and Supporters’ Club, just before they convene for the Annual General Assembly for deliberations on the development of football in Ekiti.
Since the Bayo Olanlege led Executive Board was elected in 2019, Ekiti FA has consistently held the Annual General Assembly to render stewardship and aggregate opinions for the growth of the sport in the state.
