As competitions entered day four in the ongoing 2022 National Sports Festival in Asaba,team Edo has made increased harvest in medals after taking in two Gold.
Beauty Osariemen outsmarted her opponent to make the first harvest of Gold for team Edo in Class 4 of the Women’s Para Table-Tennis.
Blessing Aiwekhoe did not disappoint as she also managed to get Silver in Class 3 of Women’s Tennis Singles.
In Para powerlifting,Osaro Abimbola won silver for Edo in 54kg Men to increase the medals.
Meanwhile,the Lander Brothers Anchorage came alive when the Rowing and Canoeing events began today at the beautiful historical site which staged the event which attracted a large crowd of spectators who sought to catch a glimpse of the entertaining game.
Team Edo who are debutants in the big water fame at the River Niger,won a Bronze Medal courtesy of Thankgod Folagbade who fought hard against the tide. The event continues on Sunday.
