Barely few days after the announcement of his Leganese signature, Buruj’s Football Academy goalkeeper, Edet Inyang bags another win as the shot stopper who is having quiet a good week receives Flying Eagles call up.
Earlier this week, it was announced officially by the Ikorodu based academy that three of it’s players have completed thier necessary documentations with Spanish side, CD Leganese and will be joining up with the team in January.
The young shot stopper shone in the NLO One campaign last season where he was in goal for Buruj. He was very instrumental to the team’s relegation survival.
The chairman of the club, Waheed Salaudeen speaking on the call up admitted that it’s a right step in the right direction, “it’s the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our sight.
“It’s good for one to remain focused, we kept nurturing them. It’s not all about wining but development for us because a lot of people slander us for loosing games.”
“We aren’t moved by those things because we know that these young lads are growing and when they fully mature, no one will be able to stop them.”
