Grace Sports Channel Football Club of Surulere would unveil its new jersey ahead of Fusion Football Championship.
The unveiling of jersey ceremony would hold on Saturday in Surulere, Lagos by afternoon.
GSC are one of the clubs that took part in the last fusion championship league and their outing in the last season surprised some football fans despite the big teams in the league.
GSC team manager, Jesse Samako told sports 247.ng that the unveiling of the Jersey is very important saying that the management is committed to take the club to the next level.
“We are doing this every year as a way of branding the club.GSC are not a ordinary club.It is a club that has vision and plans for the players.We are unveiling this jersey in preparation for our fusion League and other high profile football competitions in the nearest future,”he said.
Commenting on the team’s preparation for the fusion league, the dark skinned football administrator disclosed that the team are engaged in series of friendly matches and ready for the league.
He also boasted that they are coming to the fusion league to shock big teams and qualify for the super eight.
“We are targeting to win the league and qualify for the super eight.We have young players we just recruited recently and they were tested and good to wreck havoc when the league starts,”he said.
Meanwhile chairman of the fusion league, Abiodun Salau congratulated GSC for this initiative and charged other clubs to follow suit.
“What GSC are planning to do on Saturday is a good development and this is to show that they are fully ready for our league.I am using this medium to tell other clubs to do the same because the league would start this month and any club fails to meet the requirements would be disqualified,”he said.
