Man of the match D-Sha forward, Jubril Danasi remains firm his team can turn around their sluggish start to the ongoing 2022 IASC Unity after recording two draws in their first two matches and are now faced with a daunting task to win their next two games.
Danasi also expressed his excitement over the Providus Bank sponsorship deal admitting that it will go a long way in boosting Island Allstars Club and further projects, Sports247.ng understands.
The MOTM winner in the game between D-Sha and HIQ Auto Center which ended 1-1 confessed that the game was quite a hectic clash as he posits his MOTM performance had to do with him just doing what he can do best.
“I knew I had to do what I know how to do best, a keenly contested game but I just played my game while also enjoying myself as much as I can.”
“Our chances are still great, it’s like round rugby, a league game. If we win our next two matches, hopefully, we will get there and turn around the situation for us.”
“It’s been beautiful so far, the standard is awesome, super game and I think we are just getting better by the day. Like I know, Island Allstars is a work in progress and so far they have been pushing the bars,” Danasi stated.
“With Providus Bank coming in as sponsors, they have made it more amazing and wholesome, and I know that the next year edition will be super great,” he concluded.
