FC Ifeanyi Ubah have embarked on a 12-day break commencing Saturday, 22nd December, 2018 to Wednesday 2nd January 2019 for the playing personnel, technical crew and the entire members of staff of the club.
With the Christmas Festivities and Yuletide season around the corner, the break will enable all and sundry affiliated to the club to embark on journeys back to their respective destinations to join their families in celebration of Christmas and the anticipated New Year.
According to the Club’s Team Manager Jonathan Igwe, the break will serve as an opportunity for all affiliated to the club to reunite with their family members for commemoration and celebration of Christmas and New Year as well as take a breather from the exertions associated with the round leather game.
Mr. Igwe stated that the break will start from the 22nd of December 2018 with staff and the players expected back in camp on or before 3rd January 2019 to embark on the final lap of preparations for the anticipated new season.
The Anambra Warriors will begin its quest for glory when they feature in their 5th Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season with league actions expected to commence on the 13th of January 2019.
