Organisers of the 2018 Abe and Friends Soccer Fiesta have assured of their readiness to host a befitting tournament that would serve as avenue of encouraging young and talented footballers in Ondo State.
The yearly event is sponsored by the former international and current captain of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, Abe Sunday.
According to the line ups of the event released by the organisers, football matches to promote football development at the U-10, U-15 and U-20 would take place from the 23rd to 27th of December, 2018 at the state sports complex in Akure.
On the 28th of December, 2018, the Abe and Friends train moves to the state motherless babies homes to identify with them and give support as various foods items would be donated.
The week-long event will climax at the state sports complex in Akure on the 29th of December, 2018 with a match featuring some top stars from across the country in the grand finale.
Presentation of Jerseys and Balls to the U-10, U-15 and U-20 to encourage them and as a mark of support will also take place at the state sports complex in Akure during the grand finale.
