Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria will face defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa following CAF’s group composition release of the 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League.
The draw took place at the venue of the recently concluded Women Afcon games Rabat in the prestigious Mohammed VI Technical Centre area.
The second edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League, scheduled to take place from 30 October to 13 November 2022 in Morocco, will feature some high-profile matches.
In group A, the host club ASFAR FC (Morocco), which won the Women’s Champions League the bronze medal in Egypt last year, will face Tanzania’s Simba Queens, Zambia’s Green Buffaloes and Liberia’s Determine Girls.
In group B, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa will face Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, Egypt’s Wadi Degla and the UNIFFAC representative.
