All is now set for the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship 2022 which is slated to hold in Sokoto State.
The developmental handball championship organised by the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) and sponsored by the Sokoto State government, will commence in the Caliphate city of Sokoto from Friday the 26th of August to Sunday the 4th of September 2022.
Participating teams from, according to the Secretary General of HFN, Mr. Almo Umar Lambu, are gearing the up for the competition and some of them are already in their way to Sokoto.
Mr. Lambu urged the participating teams in the male and female categories to conclude their registrations as soon as possible before the commencement of the first match in the championship
The National Under 12/15 Handball Championship is a grassroot developmental championship organised by the HFN and sponsored by the Sokoto State government at the behest of Governor Aminu Tambuwal and it is in its third installment since the sponsorship began.
The winners of the 2022 edition of the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship in the male and female categories of the age groups will have the opportunity to represent Nigeria in selected under age international championships.
