In order to select good players ahead 2022/2023 new season, a Lagos-based club, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Academy and Club commence their screening exercise on 22, August, Monday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Only the players between the ages of 15 to 19 are eligible to participate in the four days exercise.
Speaking with Journalists in Lagos, the team manager of the club, Muftau Eletu said the screening exercise would be supervised by a French coach alongside Nigerian coaches saying that only the best would be selected for the team ahead of the new season.
“We are working with the European calendar after almost three months on break we have resumed back to training but we want to recruit new players ahead of the new season. we have received many entries from our website and a lot of players far and near are coming to participate in the screening exercise. We want to use this medium to say there is room for any interested player to join us by 7 am at the Teslim Balogun Stadium starting from Monday,” he said.
Eletu said players within the age bracket can still download the registration forms from https://linktr.ee/PKEFC and ensure that such players fill out the form and return it when they are coming to the venue.
Eletu assured their fans within and outside the country that the team would be formidable in the new season saying that any player who fails to meet the club’s expectations would be shown the exit door.
” We are a disciplined club and we would not condone any act of vices that can affect the image of the club. If you are a good player but lack discipline we would send such players packing so we are expecting players coming to Eletu to be disciplined and good so that such players would enjoy the full benefits of the club. I wish all the new players coming to the club all the best,” he concluded.
