After picking another medal for Lagos State at the recent National Sports Festival in Abuja, Youth Olympic Games female boxing silver medalist, Hadijat Gbadamosi has turned focus on reaching Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Gbadamosi said in a chat with spots247.ng that she has already shifted her mind to doing well in the Tokyo Olympics qualifiers next year, after a successful end to 2018.
Gbadamosi said she is aware that most of her opponent in the qualifiers are already preparing for the tournament, but believes she has what it takes to catch up and do better when the time comes.
“I only hope that the federation can start camping for the team in good time as well as provide for us to be better prepared,” Gbadamosi said.
