Ezekiel Bala who is currently playing for Collins Edwin FC of Lagos says he is ripe and good enough to feature for Flying Eagles ahead of Africa U-20 Cup of Nations scheduled to hold next year in Egypt.
Bala disclosed this to Sports247 after his team defeated Fluent Vision FC of Ago-Okota 10-2 in a friendly match played yesterday at the asto turf of the national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Bala who was a member of U-13 and U-15 national team before said his time has come to play for Nigeria U-20 national team.
“I am good and matured to play in Flying Eagles.Having tasted U-13 and U-15 national teams before,I have garnered enough experiences and I am exposed to bigger competitions so I am ripe for the Flying Eagles call-up,”he said.
Bala who gave a good account of himself in the friendly match revealed that his performance is better compared to when he newly came to the club last year.
“I am happy for the management of the Collins Edwin for giving me the opportunity to play in the club.when I came to the club, my game was low but today I am getting better,” said Bala who plays as a defender for Collins Edwin.
Commenting on their against Real Saphire FC in nationwide league scheduled for Friday,Bala warned his opponents to forget the victory boasting that his colleagues are in high spirit to wreck havoc.
