Former Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club goalkeeper, Sulaiman Shaibu has expressed confidence that he would have enough playing time to shine in TP Mazembe next season.
Shaibu disclosed this after he presented his club jersey to chairman of Eletu FC, Prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo recently at the club house in Lagos.
Shaibu while speaking with sports 247.ng confessed that he did not have enough playing time with TP Mazembe at the last season boasting that he is better and garnered enough experience to be in goal post for DR Congolese club next season.
“Of course no player or goalie wants to be on bench for his club but I am happy that I have garnered enough experience throughout my stay with the club. I was registered for CAF champions league unfortunately we crashed out in the semi-final stage. Let me say I have learned many things in TP Mazembe with the time I spent there so I am optimistic that when the new season starts, I would be given enough playing time,” he said.
The Kogi born goalie however thanked Prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo for his financial and moral support given him while he was moving to DR Congo to start his professional football.
“I am using this medium to thank prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo for his support of my career. I also want to thank my colleagues in Eletu FC and my family for their prayers and support given me when I was going to Congo. I also thank my fans too for being there for me throughout my stay in Eletu FC,” he concluded.
