After conquering West Africa at the WAFU-B U-17 championship with his Golden Eaglets teammates, Simoiben Futball club product, Emmanuel Michael returns home.
Simoiben Futbol club is one of the several football academies in Nigeria based in Kaduna.
Emmanuel Michael who played left back position for the Nduka Ugbade led U17 team was one of the shinning lights of the team.
Emmanuel was nicknamed the dead ball specialist after he netted three free kicks at the WAFU-B U-17 championship hosted by Ghana in Cape Coast.
Emmanuel who also got his name registered on the assists chart was named man of the match on three different occasions as well during the tournament.
On his return back to his parent club in Kaduna, Emmanuel was welcomed with a guard of honor and was also received by the president of the club, Sarah Simon.
The Kaduna based club and academy is affiliated to Super Eagles and FC Nantes winger, Moses Simon.
Emmanuel Michael and his other trophy winning U17 teammates would be getting ready for the U17 AFCON that would be played in Algeria come 2023.
