John Noble 100 Percent Sure Enyimba Will Qualify For CAF Despite In 6th Position

The race for who will claim the remaining continental ticket in this Season’s Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL is still on as teams square out this weekend to get match points in the day 37 of the NPFL. Definitely the first and second positions have gone to Rivers United and Plateau United respectively but the battle for 3rd position is till between a couple of teams which the People’s Elephants are still among.

Enyimba Football Club is in a disadvantageous position as they aspire to still represent Nigeria in the continental level come next season. Goal keeper of Enyimba is not losing sleep over the situation as he is highly confident that the people’s elephant must get a continental ticket because it’s the character of the club to always play in the continent.

“Right from the beginning Enyimba Football Club is a club that always go to the continent every season. For now we are still hoping and keeping our fingers crossed but trusting God and keep believing that at the end of the day we will still get that ticket. If along the line we don’t get it on the league, we are going to fight harder and make sure we get it through the FA Cup. We are working so hard to see how how it goes. We must get it done.”

The one time CAF Champions League winners are presently in 6th position on the league table and if they hope to get the ticket through the league, something terrible must happen to Remo Stars, Kwara United and Enugu Rangers who are in 3rd, 4th and 5th positions. However, if Enyimba fail through the league, the final CAF Confederation’s Cup ticket will be contested for in the FA Cup.
