The Handball Federation of Nigeria has announced financial companies have sponsors for the men’s senior national team as they head out for the 25th African Men’s Handball Championship.
The federation unveiled the sponsors today and was announced via their different media channels including their Twitter handle.
The announcement tweet read: “The Senior Male National Handball Team would soon be on their way to Egypt for the 25th Africa Men Senior Handball Championship.
Thus we have new partners.”
The 25th edition of the African Men’s Handball Championship would be played in 2 cities in Egypt between 11th and 18th July 2022.
14 nations including defending champions Egypt, record holders with 10 titles, and Tunisia will slug it out for the number 1spot in Africa.
Nigeria are grouped alongside Tunisia and Cape Verde in Group C and will face the record holders in their first game on the 11th of July.
The Nigerians will be out to surpass their best performance at the championship of finishing 4th in1998 in what will be their 13th appearance at the championship, their first in 1979.
