The chairman of Volleyball Coaches Association of Nigeria, Musa Baba Musa has sued for cooperation, peace and unity among referees and tacticians of the sport.
Musa said in a chat with sports247.ng that, for volleyball to grow in the country, there must be mutual respect between coaches and referees.
He, however, enthused that relationships between the umpires of the spikers’ game and coaches will improve following a recent meeting they had together in Abuja.
Musa acknowledged: “There has been friction between volleyball coaches and referees in recent time, but we want to change all that.
“in recent times, volleyball coaches have accused referees actions that undermining their efforts, but we have met to tackle such allegations.”
