Nigeria Professional Football League side, Remo Stars F.C will play Nigeria National League outfit Ijebu United in the final of the 2022 Ogun Stars FA Cup, Sports247 can report.
Remo Stars defeated Gateway United 1-0 in the first semi final fixtures which was suspended for some minutes due to heavy downpour earlier this week at Gateway Stadium to book their spot in this year’s final.
Meanwhile, Ijebu United knocked out Stormers SC 4:2 on penalties after regulation time ended in a goalless draw to set up a final showdown against Gbenga Ogunbote’s men.
Remo Stars will slug it out against Ijebu United for the bragging right of being the best team in the state when the two sides meet in the final of the annual tournament on a date yet to be announced at the Gateway Stadium, Ilaro, Ogun state.
