A Lagos based premier club, FC Robo Queens would face Papa Soccer Angels in the first semi final of the ongoing Lagos State Challenge Cup scheduled to hold by 8am tomorrow at the Alade Sports centre, Ipaja Command.
To reach the semi final stage, FC Robo Queens thrashed Nakamura Queens 7-0, while Papa Soccer Queens beat Oasis Ladies 3-1 in the quarter final which played yesterday at the Alade sports centre.
FC Robo Queens are favourite to reach the final considering the array of stars in the team.. The likes of Sade Ijamilusi, Taiwo Lawal,Esther Onyenezide and others are in best form of their games and they are ready to wreck havoc when they confront their opponents tomorrow.
FC Robo Queens have been winning FA Cup in women category for many years and it would be a biggest upset if Papa Soccer Angels shock their opponents in tomorrow tie.
In a recent interview, FC Robo Queens coach, Emmnauel Osahon said his girls would be better in their next game after his team whitewash their opponents with seven goals. Paps Soccer Queens need to double their effort and tight their defence to avoid any embarrassing result from Osahon girls who are deadly in the front of goal.
In the second semi final, Lakeside Queens would have a battle at hand as they confront Dannaz Ladies. This is the match that can go either way but Dannaz are favoured to win the game based on their performance at the national engagements recently.
Meanwhile in the men category, Ottasolo face MFM test as both teams clash in the semi final stage scheduled to hold tomorrow afternoon at the FIFA Legacy pitch of National Stadium, Surulere.
The giant killers, Dannaz would face Smart City FC in the second semi final to decide who plays in this year’s FA Cup final.
